A New Batch with a New Spirit at Asha Deep

Batch Inauguration for Batch 16 was held on 6th July 2015 (the batch was started on 2nd July). The chief guests of the inauguration were Fr. Jose Vadassery, the Provincial of Patna Jesuit Society and Fr. Siji, the coordinator of the province development office. The function started with “Deep Prajwalan” (lighting of the lamp) by chief guests, cluster team and center head.

Fr. Jesuraj, the center head cum Director, briefed the trainees about the purpose and motive of the center. The Provincial Fr. Jose said, “Every one of you has a dream. If you want to achieve it work hard with discipline in life and Asha Deep creates a platform for it. If you become successful in life, you can build up a good life for yourself, your family and can help in the societal and economic transformation.”

Encouraging the students Fr. Siji said, “I congratulate and welcome all the students. The trainees are the HOPE of Asha Deep. Longest journey always starts with shortest step. Please make a goal for your life and try to achieve it by taking the small steps. Asha Deep helps you take that small step.”

The Cluster Coordinator for PACS, Rajan Bernard challenged the trainees saying, “Everything depends on your mindset. Try to fulfill your dream in the short span of time available with you here and now.”

The Cluster Coordinator for ACCENTURE, Rajesh Ranjan drew the attention of the students and said “Ultimately you have to make and live your own live. We are here to support you through skilling you. Capacitate yourself in such a way that the employer will be happy to give you an opportunity.”

Rakesh (Placement Coordinator) said “If you capacitate yourself in trade, English and Computer, helping you to get a job is not a problem.”

Trainees participated in this function with lot of enthusiasm. Miss Sneha started the program with a prayer dance which was followed by a welcome song by a group of girls & boys. There were performances of different dances, and skits to add color to the inaugural function.

The chief guests were impressed by the way the trainees presented themselves in short span of four days. Definitely we can expect much more in three months.
