Graduation Day Ceremony held at St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology
St. Xavier’s College of Management and Technology, Patna organized a Graduation Day ceremony, for their Aryabhatta Knowledge University students, today in the college campus. It was an occasion to bid farewell to the graduating students of 2013-16 batch.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Mohiuiddinagar MLA, Dr. Ejya Yadav, Fr. Joseph Thadavanal, SJ, Fr. Dr. T Nishaant, SJ, Fr. Dr. Raj Kumar, SJ and others.
The outgoing students took a pledge to stand tall in life by serving society and their country. The students were also presented mementoes on the occasion. First year students led by Ankit and Raima presented songs. Rajat recited a poem titled “Aaj Hai College mein Aakhiri din’’. On this solemn occasion, students S Uday Kumar, Anupriya Sinha, Anural, Medha Kumari, Aditya Kashyap, Smriti and Priyam Shankar Sinha shared their experiences of college.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Ms. Yadav stressed on the importance of communication skills and right values in the life of students. Principal Father Dr. T. Nishaant, SJ wished the students well for their future and invited them to participate in the alumni meet. Professor Joel D’Cruze gave a message to the students on behalf of all the professors.
The programme was anchored by Vikas Upadhyaya and Ritika Kumari. Abhash Upadhyaya gave the vote of thanks. The NGOs ROI and Tarumitra awarded four students each for outstanding social work.
The ceremony was organised by the Academic Committee of the College under the guidance of Ms. Neeraja Lal and Sister Mudita Sodder RSCJ.
