‘A Tribute to Saint Teresa’
St. Michael’s High School celebrated its Annual Day on December 4, 2016 at 5 p.m. This Annual Day was a tribute to Saint Teresa of Kolkata. The spectacular festival of Excellence, Celebrating ‘Year of Mercy’ captivated the hearts of hundreds. It was a truly a celebration, celebrating humankind, love and humanity which was reflected through the life journey of Mother Teresa. This grand function also marked the excellence of Michaelities in the entire field.
The programme began with welcoming the Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, I.A.S., District Magistrate, Patna, Mrs. Neha Agarwal, Guest of Honor and the Special Guest, Sr. Clementina, Sister Superior, Missionaries of Charity. The students of secondary wing sang melodious welcome song for the gathering. The wonderful presentation of Prayer Dance by primary children mesmerized the audience. They prayed the ‘Glory of God’ for all. The prize distribution ceremony was held to honor the deserving students in various categories of all wings. Academic excellence award was given by Special Guest Sr. Clementina, M.C., which reflected the quality of academics imparted to the students in St. Michael’s.
The audience were touched by the heart touching performance of young Michaelites who gave tribute to the departed souls of Rishav and Akshay. CBSE Toppers 2015-16 of 12th& 10th were given prizes by the Guest of Honor. The hard work of Michaelities brought glory to the school as there were more than seventy students in this category.
The audience were spellbound to see the excellent performance of musical tribute to Mother Teresa. The life journey of Mother Teresa was depicted through the musical play in which more than 400 students performed. The theme taken by the school was all due to the value inculcated in them of love and compassion from her life.

Pre-Primary Section of St. Michael's High School celebrated its Montessori concert on December 10, 2016 at 5:00 pm. It was a mesmerizing concert in which the students of Pre- primary section made the audience awestruck and spellbound by their colorful performance under the guidance of expert teachers.
In this world of rat race, there is nothing more contagious than the laughter of children. And these little children have the right to laugh, to play and to dream about their perfect magical place. A child's creativity and imagination has no bounds and truly it is beyond our thinking and expectations. The pre- primary students of St. Michael's High School have proved this by their show, the region of reverie- Dreamland.
The programme commenced with welcoming the chief guest, Dr. Father Thomas Perumalil, SJ, Principal, Dean and Head of P G Department of Education at St. Xavier's College of Education, Patna and the Guest of Honor, Mr. Suresh Chandra Srivastava, Deputy Chief Personal Officer ECR, Patna.
The wonderful welcome dance presentation by the students of LKG and UKG mesmerized the audience. The spectacular dances which included the circus dance, the birthday dance, the color dance, the express dance, the butterfly dance, the Mickey Mouse dance, the Gummy bear dance and the hip hop dance stole the show. These dances showed children entering into a different world of dreams. And the circus skit also was not too far away. It was really a treat to watch the tiny tots performing the circus skit.
