A New Batch of Trainees at Asha Deep

The inauguration of 17th batch of trainees was held on 7th October 2015 at Asha Deep. The chief guest of the inauguration was the Provincial of Patna Jesuit Society, Fr. Jose Vadassery, SJ. Classes for the batch started on 5th October 2015. There are 175 deserving trainees in the batch and there are few more days to close the admission.

The function started with “Deep Prajwalan” (lighting of the lamp) by the chief guest, cluster coordinator Rajan Bernard and representatives of the student community and trainers. .

Fr. Jesuraj, the center head cum Director, briefed the trainees about the purpose and vision of the center. .

Provincial Fr. Jose (Chief Guest) said, “Every one of you has a dream. If you want to achieve it work hard with discipline in life and Asha Deep creates a platform for it. If you become successful in life, you can build up a good life for yourself, your family and can help in the societal and economic transformation. I congratulate and welcome all the students. The trainees are the hope of Asha Deep. Longest journey always starts with shortest step. Please make a goal for your life and try to achieve it by taking the first small step. Asha Deep helps you take that small step.” .

Rajan Bernard (Cluster Coordinator) said, “Everything depends on your mindset. Try to fulfill your dream in the short span of time available with you here and now. Ultimately you have to make and live your own live. We are here to support you through skilling you. Capacitate yourself in such a way that the employer will be happy to give you an opportunity. If you capacitate yourself in trade, English and Computer, helping you to get a job is not a problem. There will be challenges in your life but if your goal is clear don’t be afraid of the path which may be tough and challenging. He also shared about the mission and vision of Asha Deep.” .

Trainees participated in this function with lot of enthusiasm. Miss Deepika Kumari started the program with a prayer dance; a group of girls sang a welcome song and Mr. Matheus Edward presented a break dance on a slow motion song. At the end of the program Miss Shikha Kumari presented a dance on a patriotic song. The chief guests were impressed by the way the trainees presented themselves in a short span of three days. Definitely we can expect much more in three months. The trainees feel more excited towards their training after attending and participating in the event. .
